We are a small business located on the east side of Columbus with a diversified portfolio of business activities including construction and development, apartments, commercial properties, restaurants and sports and entertainment facilities.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a talented Web Developer and Graphic Designer to join our team. As our ideal candidate, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining visually appealing, user-friendly websites and graphics that effectively communicate our brand message.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE (PREFERRED)

• 1 year or more of experience in graphic design or related field (college graduate are welcome)
• A keen eye for detail and a well-developed artistic and creative aesthetic
• Strong time- and project management skills to juggle multiple deadlines and quick turnarounds with the flexibility to both self-manage and work as part of a team within a dynamic environment
• Social media marketing experience is a plus
• Experience with design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Word press, Indesign is preferred
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of SEO and website optimization best practices
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills; the ability to develop compelling, persuasive, and memorable content and communications.
• Flexibility in a variety of tasks, hours worked, occasional weekends and nights.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous web and graphic design work

• Design visually appealing and user-friendly websites, landing pages, and graphics that effectively communicate our brand message
• Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet our business goals
• Obtain input from colleagues to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company appropriately
• Create and Manage marketing calendar
• Ensure all content is executed as planned on calendar and well-optimized across relevant channels by tagging, linking, and performance tracking.
• Work independently as well as cooperatively with the team to meet deadlines, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include three or more simultaneous projects
• Maintain an image library with standard naming conventions.
• Develop concepts and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
• Handle a fast-paced atmosphere with quick turnaround and deadlines
• Remain up-to-date with emerging design trends, technologies, and best practices
• Update and maintain design files and project documentation in an organized and comprehensive manner
• Be willing to take the initiative and lead projects
