Overview Cyber Pashto is seeking a Junior Web Developer with foundational experience in WordPress, MySQL, and modern developer tools. This role is designed for early-career professionals who may have completed internships, academic projects, or freelance work, and are now ready to take on professional responsibilities. As a Junior Developer, you’ll be working on website deployment, WordPress management, database operations, and AI-assisted development workflows, with plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and advance your career. Key Responsibilities Hosting & Deployment Deploy and manage websites using Hostinger (or similar platforms). Configure domains, SSL, and hosting environments. WordPress Development Administer WordPress sites: themes, plugins, and updates. Customize themes and troubleshoot plugin issues. Support plugin setup and basic modifications. Database Management (MySQL) Set up and manage MySQL databases. Write and optimize SQL queries. Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues. Backups & Security Create and automate backup schedules. Perform restore operations when needed. Follow data integrity and security best practices. Developer Tools Use VS Code, Cursor, and ChatGPT for coding, problem-solving, and productivity. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. AI Integration Explore the latest AI tools for web development use cases. Apply AI-assisted debugging to quickly identify and resolve code errors. Qualifications 0–2 years of experience in web development (internships, academic projects, or freelance work are welcome). Working knowledge of WordPress administration, themes, and plugins. Basic understanding of MySQL setup and queries. Familiarity with web hosting environments (Hostinger preferred). Interest in AI tools and how they can support development. Problem-solving attitude and eagerness to learn from senior developers. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Exposure to SEO best practices for WordPress. Familiarity with Git version control.
