WHAT WILL YOU DO: Research Solutions is seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft Developer with 4-6 years of development experience in PeopleSoft ERP 9.2. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a deep understanding of PeopleSoft ERP, especially Financials and Grants and Contracts module. As a Senior developer, the candidate will support development and integration of grants data with third party applications. Activities include designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting integration solutions and APIs. The candidate should be capable of analyzing user requests, designing and developing effective solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure thorough testing and successful deployment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Perform analysis, design, code and testing for a PeopleSoft ERP 9.2 system. Develop PeopleSoft technical solutions using Application Engine, People Code and Component Interfaces. Create queries and views in Peoplesoft applications as per business needs. Provide support to include troubleshoot, fix, and analysis activities. Create technical design specifications and other project required documentation. Create reports and queries using SQL query, XML Publisher, and SQR. Identify and troubleshoot coding issues. Ensure that project deliverables align with the university’s requirements, advance strategic goals and priorities, and are completed within the assigned timeline. Provide support in system testing and bug fixing activities. Recommend new coding techniques to ensure quality and usability. NOTE: These positions are located 100%25 on GSU’s main campus in Downtown Atlanta. We do not allow sponsorship for this position. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the USA. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience. Preferred Requirements: Experience managing large complex enterprise system migration projects. Ability to identify and clearly communicate technical needs and opportunities for system improvements and enhancements. Proficiency with Oracle database structures. Experience working with Jira software. Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team to effectively meet objectives. Demonstrated track record of analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to interpret technical documentation.
