JOB DESCRIPTION

Interact with team to gather and define requirements. Analyze requirements to determine the most effective web technologies to satisfy their needs. Coordinate creation and collection of necessary technology components and integrate them into a coherent site design. Follow a formal design process that includes adhering to laws, standards, and established guidelines for development and delivery of the web site end product. Design and develop visually-pleasing, content rich, user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation. Deliver comprehensive website solutions to satisfy customer requirements. Maintain configuration management.

This team designs, creates, maintains, and troubleshoots multiple web-based applications that are deployed in both cloud and local on-premise environments.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Required Skills:
Demonstratable work experience with one or more of the following:
o Python
o Java
o .Net C#
o PHP
o Node.js
o HTML
o CSS
o JavaScript
o Vue.js

o React

• Experience with MariaDB, MS SQL, MySQL, or Oracle
• Experience leading small teams and/or mentoring junior developers
• Experience deploying services in Linux environments
• Nginx, Apache Tomcat, and/or IIS experience
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong desire to learn and grow

Education:
Eight (8) years experience as a WD in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional WD experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with AWS (e.g. EC2, ASG, Lambda, etc.) or Azure cloud environments
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Perl, and Python
• Experience working in an Agile development environment and Git
