We’re seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Website Developer with a strong focus on WordPress to join our growing team.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Website Developer at Mission Disrupt, you’ll be responsible for building and customizing high-performance WordPress websites that meet the unique needs of our clients. This role goes beyond just tweaking templates—you’ll be expected to extend functionality with custom plugins, integrate third-party systems, and work hand-in-hand with designers, project managers, and developers to bring digital experiences to life.

7. DOCUMENTATION & INTERNAL KNOWLEDGE SHARING

• Maintain clear and organized technical documentation, including user guides and internal handoff materials.
• Contribute to agency-wide best practices, code libraries, and ongoing team education.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
• Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL.
• Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and third-party API integrations (Salesforce, Zapier, etc.).
• Familiarity with tools like Git, Figma, and task management platforms (e.g., Asana, ClickUp).
• Experience working in a collaborative agency or fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of technical SEO and performance optimization tools (e.g., GTmetrix, Lighthouse).
