We’re looking for a versatile and technically strong Web Developer who can turn creative ideas into seamless, high-performance websites and applications. You’ll work alongside our designers, videographers, and marketing team to deliver web solutions that not only look incredible but also perform flawlessly for our clients across multiple industries.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.
• Experience with PHP and WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js) for interactive UI components.
• Experience with Node.js and Express for server-side development.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Solid grasp of SEO-friendly development practices, including Core Web Vitals optimisation.
• Experience with API integration and data manipulation (REST/JSON).
• Knowledge of hosting environments (cPanel, Plesk, cloud platforms) and domain/DNS management.
• Familiarity with Docker or containerised workflows is a bonus.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with creative and marketing teams to deliver projects that align with both design vision and technical performance.

• Develop, maintain, and optimise websites for performance, accessibility, and SEO, ensuring alignment with Passion’s creative standards.
• Build pixel-perfect front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and JavaScript (ES6+), ensuring responsiveness across all devices.
• Integrate creative assets such as high-quality video, animation, and interactive elements without compromising site speed.
• Develop and maintain back-end functionality using PHP (WordPress), Node.js, or other relevant frameworks.
• Customise and extend WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring maintainable code and adherence to industry best practices.
• Manage and optimise databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) for performance and scalability.
• Implement RESTful APIs and third-party integrations for marketing tools, CRMs, analytics platforms, and e-commerce solutions.
• Work with the marketing team to ensure technical SEO implementation (structured data, site speed optimisation, schema markup).
• Use Git for version control and follow disciplined deployment processes.
• Collaborate in project management platforms (Trello, ClickUp, or similar) for task tracking and updates.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues efficiently to maintain project timelines.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies to bring innovation to Passion’s digital offerings.
