REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• A bachelor degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with web development languages.
• Experience with eCommerce ecosystems, including Maropost (Neto), eBay, and other online marketplaces is highly regarded.
• Understanding of technical SEO, Google Analytics, and Shopify analytics tools.
• Ability to resolve technical issues independently and deliver under tight timelines.

• Manage and maintain the company’s Shopify-based eCommerce platform, ensuring optimal performance, mobile responsiveness, and seamless user experience.
• Create and implement new website features or enhancements using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web technologies.
• Customise themes, troubleshoot code, and integrate third-party applications or APIs as required.
• Develop and manage databases and data-driven components, ensuring data integrity and secure access.
• Design, code and modify webpages and applications according to project specifications and user needs.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline digital workflows, order management, and inventory syncing.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as network administrators and IT support to update product pages, promotional banners, and conversion funnels.
• Optimise site speed, monitor uptime, and ensure technical SEO best practices are applied.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and compatibility errors across browsers/devices.
• Ensure web security protocols are implemented and maintain regular backups.
• Stay updated on emerging web technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements.
