Description

SAIC is seeking a Web Developer to support First Army Headquarters at Rock Island Arsenal, IL. This role supports the Knowledge Management (KM) Team by developing web applications, modern front‑end interfaces, scripts, and data integrations that enhance information sharing and operational effectiveness across the command. The Web Developer will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties: * Analyze existing command solutions and identify areas for modernization or improvement. * Work with users and stakeholders to gather and refine technical requirements. * Develop responsive front-end interfaces, dashboards, and custom web components for SharePoint 2019/Online and Army Vantage. * Build custom SharePoint applications and solutions using client‑side development (JavaScript, jQuery, REST APIs), modern frameworks, and reusable components. * Develop and maintain JavaScript, jQuery, and other front-end scripts to improve user experience and automate tasks. * Configure and manage SharePoint lists, libraries, and site structures to support business workflows. * Develop data-driven solutions using SQL, Python, and/or PySpark as needed. * Collaborate with KM staff to translate operational needs into technical implementations.
