Foxhole is seeking a qualified Sr. Web Developer. This position focuses on using relevant experience, strong problem solving, and customer service skills to assist with architecting, testing, deploying, enhancing, and sustaining development and operational activities in close coordination with the Government. Job Description Ensuring websites are optimized for speed, scalability, and usability across all devices and browsers Conducting regular website updates, backups, bug fixes, and security monitoring to ensure maximum uptime and performance Creating and designing websites that translate visual design wireframes from Government customers into functional, responsive web pages Integrate data from various back-end services, databases, and APIs to ensure seamless functionality Writing efficient, testable, and reliable code using languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, as well as server-side languages Validating website functionality through user-acceptance testing and troubleshooting Conferring with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, and choose solutions Identify problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel correction Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s (BS) and/or Master (MS) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience (8+ years) – strongly preferred but not required At least 8 years of experience in web development, with at least 2-3 years specifically in a senior or lead level role Advanced proficiency in front-end technologies, i.e., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or associated language knowledge Knowledge of database management technologies, to include SQL, Oracle, Oracle Apex, or similar environments Deep understanding of server-side languages, to include RESTful APIs Expertise in responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization Familiarity with web-security best practices and compliance requirements.
