JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance our online presence and engage with our audience. This role requires a strong understanding of various social media platforms, content creation, and analytics to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.

EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• Proficiency in front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.
• Familiarity with back-end technologies including PHP, Python (Django), or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience using databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB for data management.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git or SVN for collaborative projects.
• Understanding of DevOps practices including Docker and Jenkins for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Experience with project management tools such as Trello or Jira to track progress and collaborate effectively.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles to create user-friendly designs.
• Familiarity with web services (REST/SOAP) and APIs for integrating various platforms.

Pay: £24,420.00-£38,059.85 per year

• Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more.
• Create engaging content tailored to each platform, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement metrics to inform strategy adjustments.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing objectives.
• Utilise data visualisation tools to analyse performance metrics and generate reports on social media effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media technologies and best practices.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
• Conduct SEO analysis to optimise content for search engines.
• Assist in web design projects using WordPress or Drupal as needed.
