At Universal Group, we are a marketing agency that provides many different services to external clients, from Websites, Web Hosting, PPC, Google Analytics, Google My Business, Email Marketing to SMS Marketing.

JOB OVERVIEW

We are now looking to hire a Web Developer, that will be working on designing / building websites and working on development tasks that arise.
You will mainly be working on WordPress, as most clients are looking for an information website, or an online shop with WooCommerce. However, clients do ask about development projects they want apart of their website, so you will also be working on these.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive person for this role, who has skills and experience in: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, also preferably PHP.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Confidence in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Preferred experience in PHP
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in self management and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Great organisational and prioritisation skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferred certification in Digital Marketing, Computer Science or in IT.
• Preferred A or above in English.

• Managing existing WordPress websites
• Making edits to existing websites
• Building / creating new websites with WordPress
• Using Yoast SEO plugin to optimise webpages
