Description
Asset Creation, Enhancement & Quality Source, create, and refine digital imagery (photography, illustrations, graphics) for web templates and components. Optimize images for performance (format, sizing, compression), accessibility (alt text), and responsiveness across devices. Apply complete taxonomy/tagging (e.g., image or PDF asset category, area of business, product/technology/topic, campaign/program, region, usage rights). Assist with maintaining metadata accuracy, usage rights/licensing details, and archival rules; monitor orphaned or outdated assets as ad hoc dedicated projects (once annual). Collaborate with UX/UI designers on media design projects, ensuring consistency, clarity, and accessibility. Work in Jira to track tasks, manage deadlines, provide updates, respond to @mentions, and close tickets with documentation. Uphold brand governance, file hygiene, and system standards across projects. Ensure WCAG‑compliant imagery (contrast, alt text, non‑text alternatives) and follow best practices for inclusive design. Validate copyright/licensing, only sourcing imagery from approved and licensed platforms. 3-5+ years experience in web media production, digital asset management, or visual design for marketing sites. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (layers, masks, smart objects, blend modes, color correction, retouching, AI generative/extend, upscaling) and InDesign. Hands‑on experience with a Digital Asset Manager (DAM) (e.g., Bynder, Brandfolder, Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager Assets, Widen, etc.). Demonstrated ability to implement naming conventions, taxonomy/tagging, metadata standards, and version control. Comfort working across diverse topics and industries and ability to discern appropriate imagery based on context/surrounding or accompanying content Familiarity with Jira (issue types, workflows, SLAs, dashboards) or similar work management platform, and disciplined task management. Proven track record following brand guidelines and producing visually consistent assets across large sites. Working knowledge of WCAG/accessible imagery (alt text, contrast, text‑in‑image considerations). Excellent organizational skills; meticulous attention to detail; clear written communication for documentation and ticket updates. Exposure to AEM, Sitecore, or similar CMS asset workflows and component‑level requirements. Skill with Illustrator, Lightroom, Figma (for UI collaboration and asset prep). Familiarity with license management (rights types, embargoes, renewals) and basic legal/compliance workflows. Understanding of SEO for images (descriptive file names, alt text best practices, image sitemaps). Experience building component libraries or visual specs for repeatable asset production.
