POSITION OVERVIEW

The Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) is seeking to hire qualified candidates with the opportunity to work in a dynamic, creative thinking, problem solving environment. This position serves as a Web Services Back End Development Specialist II creating, enhancing and/or maintaining applications using latest versions of software as directed by management within predetermined standards. In this role you will prepare technical, testing and end-user documentation and provide technical advice and analytical support for web templates and/or applications. In addition, you will coordinate and conduct benchmark evaluation and quality testing on applicable software/hardware products based upon the appropriateness of the product for the intended use on the Web, overall quality of the product, ease of use, user interface, product documentation, and vendor support mechanism for product.
