WEB SOFTWARE ENGINEERING TEAM, WHAT WE DO:

We design, develop, deploy and support websites and full-stack applications supporting operations of an industry leading global exchange operator. Our websites handle millions of requests per day, presenting high-quality market data to our members and the investing public. For our market participants, we allow them to execute critical day-to-day trading operations on their orders and trades. For our internal teams, we are the primary gateway for command and control of all Cboe markets worldwide. We operate at the tip of the spear. We are aggressive, agile and ship code weekly. We care about achieving business function with intuitive user experience. We care about code quality, testing and automation. We’re looking for like-minded individuals to join us.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Passion for full-stack web development. The individual must be interested in Python based MVC web frameworks, in addition to front-end web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. Experience with Django and React is a plus.
  • Should have worked on software projects or coursework involving a mix of front-end and back-end code.
  • Experience with Linux or UNIX-like systems and knowledge of at least one scripting language.
  • Experience with SQL/relational databases desirable.
  • Self-directed, self-motivated.
  • Not afraid to get stuck in tasks you’ve never done
