Position: Web (UI) Designer - Full time
Location: Sydney, Australia - Darlinghurst

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven 2 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing creativity and technical proficiency.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of current design trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to determine project objectives and constraints, ensuring alignment with communication needs.
  • Research user interfaces, market trends, and functional communication requirements to gain insights.
  • Formulate design concepts tailored to the intended audience, emphasising commercial and communication goals.
  • Prepare low-fidelity design sketches, diagrams, and layouts to communicate initial concepts effectively.
  • Develop high-fidelity interfaces and design solutions, gathering stakeholder feedback throughout the process.
  • Negotiate design solutions within budget constraints, consulting with management, sales, and production staff as needed.
  • Recommend suitable materials and technologies for digital interfaces, considering both functional and aesthetic aspects.
  • Document designs using Figma design systems, ensuring clarity and accessibility for future reference.
  • Provide guidance during development staging to ensure the successful implementation of design concepts.
  • Archive design assets for future use, maintaining an organised repository for client reference and continuity.
