Dupont Creative, a Washington, DC-based web design and digital marketing agency serving clients since 2011, is seeking an experienced Web Designer for a 3-month contract position with potential to transition into a full-time role. About the Role We're looking for a talented designer to join our team and create compelling web designs for our clients, which include law firms, nonprofits, trade associations, advocacy groups, and businesses. This is a hands-on design role focused on producing high-quality visual work across multiple platforms. What You'll Do Design website mockups, responsive layouts, and style guides for professional services clients Create social media graphics including posts, covers, and profile images Design email marketing templates and promotional campaigns Edit video content for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns Collaborate with our development team to ensure seamless design-to-code handoffs Work directly with clients to present and refine designs based on feedback Maintain brand consistency across all client touchpoints Required Qualifications 2-3+ years of design experience at an agency, firm, or similar professional environment Strong portfolio demonstrating website design and digital marketing materials Expert proficiency in Figma or Sketch Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) Deep understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) as applied to visual design Experience designing for professional services industries (law firms, nonprofits, associations strongly preferred) Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Excellent attention to detail and file organization Bonus Qualifications Print design and production experience Familiarity with legal industry marketing and compliance requirements Understanding of nonprofit and advocacy sector design standards Motion graphics or animation skills Duration: 3-month contract with opportunity to extend based on performance and business needs Schedule: Full-time Location: In-office required at our downtown Washington, DC location
