Description

The Webflow Developer will be responsible for creative content management design and ongoing maintenance, building client marketing websites that drive leads and convert leads to customers using Webflow CMS. This role is development-focused and requires foundational understanding of CSS, HTML and Javascript.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Wonderist Agency is a full-service marketing agency that supports almost 1000 dentists around the country. We pride ourselves on ditching the old fashioned marketing model of stock photos and templated sites. We strive to tell our clients’ stories with bespoke brands, impactful photo and video shoots, and stunning website design. We also provide ongoing services such as SEO, PPC, Social Media Marketing, and Funnels to help our practices get butts in seats. (Here is a great example of our work: precisiondentalbowlinggreen.com)
We need a skilled Webflow Developer with the flexibility to turn on your heels when priorities change, the thoughtfulness to do what’s in the best interest of the team, and the desire to always produce your best work.
We’re a team of over 55 passionate marketers nestled in sunny San Diego. We are walking distance from local hangouts, bars, and the famed Liberty Station. While many companies simply check the required boxes when it comes to culture, a well-balanced team and positive office culture has been the core of our success from the start. We are a social team at heart, and have embraced a hybrid work model where team members come in at least two days a week. This allows us to work from home and have flexibility, without altogether forgoing the excitement and moments of collaboration and inspiration you can only get from in-person time. Not to mention, we also genuinely enjoy spending time together and socializing.
We celebrate new ideas and prioritize a culture of trust and respect where team members can grow and take risks. Each quarter we host events under our four cultural pillars; health & wellness, personal & professional development, social good, and social. We are proud to have been named one of San Diego Business Journal’s Best Places to work in 2018, 2021, 2022 and 2023, made the Inc 5000 Regionals Fastest Growing Companies 2021, 2022, and 2024, made the San Diego Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Private Companies list in 2019, 2020, 2022, and 2023 and made the Inc. 5000 for the last 4 years!
If you work at Wonderist, you likely enjoy a challenge, appreciate autonomy, actually care about clients, and are looking for a team that you can enjoy being part of.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Webflow Developer will be responsible for creative content management design and ongoing maintenance, building client marketing websites that drive leads and convert leads to customers. This role is development-focused and requires foundational understanding of CSS, HTML and Javascript. We are looking for an experienced Webflow designer interested in executing front end website projects, directly applying their creativity to websites during the build process. A strong eye for design, organized workflow, and ability to multi-task is essential.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

  • 1+ years designing websites in the Webflow content management system
  • Familiarity with Lumos, Client-First, and other Webflow build frameworks.
  • Understanding of other content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, SquareSpace, Duda or Wix.
  • Foundational understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript and how they work together
  • A passion for helping clients and small businesses succeed
Responsibilities
  • Designing & Building Websites: You will be designing & building your own websites as well as building custom websites mocked by our Design team in Figma. Using the Webflow content management system, you will create unique, aesthetically exciting websites that reflect the clients’ brand while adhering to our high quality standards.
  • Ongoing Maintenance: Our client relationships don’t end when the website launches. Our clients will submit post-launch update requests that you will vet for clarity and scope, make recommendations on, and ultimately execute.
  • Creative Direction: Conceptualizing page layouts, animations and user interactions are critical to successful website projects. You will provide clients with suggested color palettes, typography pairings, and high-level page layouts prior to full build-out.
  • Quality Assurance: You ensure that your own work and that of your peers is branded appropriately for each client, accurate, and high-quality. From reviewing appropriate padding, alignment and animation execution to testing mobile device responsiveness, you will always strive for an aesthetic that is fresh and effective.
  • Marketing Strategy: You will make recommendations on design, conversion opportunities, and user experience to make the most of a client’s marketing package. You will participate in client kick-off calls and speak directly with the end client. You think critically and make judgements in the best interest of the website visitor.
