Key Responsibilities As a webmaster, you will be responsible for managing all the WordPress websites we create and maintain for clients, as well as our company’s own website. Your regular duties will be: Deliver high-quality WordPress websites that meet user experience standards and business objectives, consistently completing projects on schedule. Manage and maintain multiple WordPress websites, including themes, plugins, and core updates. Ensure website uptime, security, and overall stability. Optimize performance, page speed, and SEO compliance using industry best practices. Oversee regular backups, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery planning. Implement and monitor analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.) to track and report on site performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, content, marketing, development) to improve usability, accessibility, and user experience. Manage hosting environments (e.g. cPanel), DNS, and domain configurations. Stay ahead of emerging web technologies, plugins, and best practices to recommend proactive improvements. Requirements To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate: Proven experience as a Webmaster or WordPress Developer. Strong proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, SQL.. Experience with modern page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery).. Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and performance testing tools (Lighthouse, GTmetrix) Solid understanding of responsive design and UX/UI principles. Knowledge of web hosting, DNS management, and domain administration. Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and detail orientation. Proactive and self-driven mindset, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative. Preferred Qualifications Experience with WooCommerce or other WordPress-based e-commerce solutions. Knowledge of advanced website security best practices (SSL, firewalls, monitoring, malware prevention).. Exposure to marketing automation tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot, CRM integrations). Experience with other frameworks is a strong plus: PHP (e.g. Laravel, Symfony), Python (e.g. Django, Flask), Node.js, or modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React.js Benefits Competitive salary, depending on experience.
