We are looking for a Website Content Editor with fluent German and English to join our DACH market team working primarily on our German language franchise website, with some content work required also for our South Africa site. You will be responsible for content creation on our websites while also engaging in all other things digital marketing related.
The ideal candidate will have excellent writing experience while also being tech-savvy and having a strong understanding of the evolving online marketing landscape – websites, email, analytics, social media and more.

Responsibilities
  • Content development on our German and English language websites
  • Undertaking a wide range of digital marketing activities to grow the brand and the website’s traffic
  • Researching and developing new content while updating and improving existing content for the franchise and business sector
  • Preparing client ads for posting; writing and editing the copy from supplied sources and creating persuasive, articulate profiles that promote franchise concepts in a variety of industries.
  • Managing the website’s SEO to improve overall search engine visibility
  • Organising and executing email campaigns
  • Developing our social media presence
  • Working with graphics and video
  • Analysing campaign performance and optimising to deliver improved results
  • Customer service and sales support
  • Updating and modifying client profiles as required.
  • Writing introductory copy for client videos.
  • Editing and posting client press releases and success stories on the website.
  • Writing monthly blog posts.
  • Proof-reading reports and articles for the website.
  • Working on related writing assignments as required.
  • Ensuring all content complies with copyright regulations.
