Digital marketing agency seeking a full-time Website Developer to support some of the most exciting brands in Washington, D.C. and across the US! We offer fully remote work with a flexible schedule, and preference will go to applicants in DC, MD, or VA. REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of front-end website development experience on sites on WordPress
  • 3+ years of experience in CSS, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, JQuery
  • Experience managing WordPress hosting environments like Kinsta or WPEngine
  • Familiarity with SQL / MySQL
  • Experience with GitHub or BitBucket
  • Skilled, professional communicator, both in-person and in writing
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Local to Washington, DC metro area

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop custom websites using various Content Management Systems, with a strong focus on WordPress
  • Install and configure plugins and integrations to meet client functionality and performance goals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by users or identified through testing
  • Perform regular website maintenance, updates, and quality assurance checks
  • Test websites across devices and screen sizes with a mobile-first approach to ensure optimal responsiveness, compatibility, and functionality.
  • Debug front-end and back-end issues, optimizing code for performance and stability
  • Conduct research on competitors, market trends, and new web technologies to stay ahead of industry best practices
  • Evaluate and recommend development tools and techniques that can improve workflow, efficiency, and site performance
  • Contribute to content marketing and SEO strategies by identifying ways to improve site structure, speed, and search visibility
  • Collaborate with brand strategists, designers, copywriters, SEO specialists, and photographers to align technical execution with creative vision
  • Communicate directly with clients or with internal teams to gather requirements, present ongoing projects, and provide updates or recommendations
  • Maintain clear documentation of website builds, updates, and processes for internal use and client handoff
