EXPERIENCE

  • Website Management (5+ years): Hands-on experience managing multiple websites, preferably in WordPress multisite environments, including content updates, navigation enhancements, and integration with marketing automation tools.
  • Marketing Technology & Automation (3–5 years): Experience integrating websites with Pardot, Salesforce.com, Customer.io, and Intercom, ensuring accurate data flow and lead tracking.
  • Analytics & Performance Tracking (3–5 years): Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), HotJar, CrazyEgg, and intent monitoring tools to analyze user behavior and optimize site performance.
  • Project & Vendor Management (3+ years): Experience working with external agencies, freelancers, and internal teams to execute web initiatives, manage timelines, and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Web Accessibility & Compliance (2+ years): Knowledge of ADA, WCAG, GDPR, and other digital compliance standards, ensuring websites meet legal and usability requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong ability to work with marketing, operations, IT, and content teams to align web strategies with business goals.
  • Content & Quality Control: Experience proofreading and reviewing text, images, videos, and media assets to maintain brand consistency and accuracy.
Responsibilities

YOUR NEW ROLE

Reporting to the Press, PR & Social Manager, the Website Manager oversees the management, optimization, and performance of multiple company and product websites. This role ensures a seamless, engaging, and accessible web experience aligned with the needs of diverse audiences, including life sciences organizations, R&D-driven manufacturing companies, scholarly publishers, academic institutions, non-profit funding bodies, government research organizations, and advanced degree students. Our sites are primarily geared toward prospective buyers in these segments.
The Website Manager is responsible for leading external agencies and freelancers, coordinating internal resources, and driving website strategy while ensuring compliance with accessibility, privacy and other data standards. This role requires experience with website analytics, managing content and technical updates, and providing support to employees posting content. The manager partners with the operations team to ensure data is flowing accurately from the site into various marketing and sales automation applications. From time to time, the Website Manager may work with a freelancer or agency on building new sites, integrating sites with one another, managing complex or high-volume content updates, project coordination, and more.
