Overview Working as part of a small CMS team, you will support the Digital team in maintaining and optimizing Element's portfolio of websites and digital platforms. Your expertise in Optimizely CMS and SEO best practices will be essential as you manage day-to-day content operations, train stakeholders, and ensure quality standards across all digital properties. This is a remote position based in the United States. A key differentiator of this role is providing timezone coverage for USA requirements when the EMEAA team is offline, with a strong emphasis on developing and applying SEO expertise alongside the Senior SEO Specialist. Responsibilities Manage daily CMS operations using Optimizely (Episerver), including uploading content, creating pages, and maintaining site structure and code quality. Review and approve content change requests through the CMS, ensuring submissions meet quality guidelines and SEO best practices. Assist the Senior SEO Specialist with SEO projects, including technical SEO crawls and audits and keyword optimization, applying current best practices. Cover for them in periods of absence to ensure projects keep progressing. Support the day-to-day running of the web content process and board, managing requests and ensuring timely delivery. Perform regular website and content audits to identify missing elements, broken links, or issues, and areas for UX improvement; work with stakeholders to resolve. Train and support marketing teams and stakeholders in using the CMS system effectively. Monitor error and downtime reports, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex problems to the Web Agency or Platforms Manager as appropriate, with clear briefs. Provide responsive timezone coverage for USA requirements when EMEAA team is offline. Support the Global Digital Director, Platforms Manager, and wider Digital team with ad-hoc tasks as needed. Keep current with developments in CMS technology and SEO practices, particularly AI and algorithm updates. Always operate in accordance with Element's Purpose and values and Element's policies procedures and standards at all times. Skills / Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in website management, CMS administration, or digital marketing support for an agency or larger organization. Hands-on experience with Optimizely (Episerver) CMS highly desirable; experience with other enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., Sitecore, Craft) will be considered. Experience with headless CMS systems and understanding of modern content architecture approaches. Working knowledge of technical / content SEO best practices and current digital marketing trends. Experience with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Looker.
