Description

We are looking for a full-time Wedding and Corporate Events Coordinator to join our amazing event planning team. If you are a self starter, with a strong sales and customer service focus then keep reading!
The successful applicant will be well groomed, polite and driven by consistently delivering unsurpassed event planning services.

Principal position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning all aspects of wedding and corporate events
  • Communicating professionally with couples and guests
  • Professionally answering telephones and emails
  • Sourcing of new business opportunities for the operation as it relates to event planning
  • Communicating with all departments as necessary
  • Administrative responsibilities include letter writing, mailing, emailing, banquet event order production, photocopying, et cetera, as required
  • Reporting to the Manager | Private Events and Member Services
  • Providing assistance to the Manager | Private Events and Member Services, and Manager | Member and Corporate Events Manager, as requested
  • Carrying out Manager-on-Duty shifts, as required
  • Directing event service staff, as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Previous event experience (either planning or executing) is required.
Regular core working hours are Tuesday to Friday (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), Saturday (noon to 9:00 p.m.), or as required.
