Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that every guest has an excellent and memorable event experience, enjoying stand out hospitality.
  • Plan, coordinate and supervise all aspects of weddings and events in keeping with government legislation and company procedures.
  • Communicate with guests to obtain all necessary information for a successful wedding / event by ensuring meetings are held at regular intervals prior to the date and within the final week of the event.
  • Confirm all guest requirements such as overnight rooms, room set-ups, food and beverage functions, entertainment and billing arrangements.
  • Ensure all contracts are sent out once the wedding / event has changed from provisional to confirmed.
  • To ensure all monies are taken at relevant stages from the organisers as per the contract and terms and conditions.
  • Be responsible for all internal communication through weekly function sheets as well as being personally on site where possible for all weddings / events.
  • On day of event, coordinate with Master of Ceremonies and all pertinent departments to ensure a successful event.
  • Develop good relations with various suppliers that service the business wedding / event needs.
  • To assist where required with any office administration as agreed with the senior team.
