We are looking for an energetic, fun, and organised person to coordinate mainly our weddings but also the occassional event which now attract a customer base nationally and even internationally. Experience is preferred in the wedding and event field; however, we will train the right candidate. A positive, “can do” attitude is important as we host one of the most amazing days in couples’ lives so that we have to show the positivity and authority as well as the calm, the happy, and the fun that engender confidence in the couples that their day will be very special.
We have onsite accommodation and our weddings are typically one, two or three day packages. Weekends are always busy but we also have weddings during the week, so hours are varied and flexibility is required regarding hours, weekend and bank holiday working, which will be discussed at interview.
The pay is based on experience, most shifts are 8-12 hours depending on the package selected by the client and there will also be administrative work such as final details meetings, emails, answering telephone queries, ensuring that the bars are sufficiently stocked.
You will share responsibility for contacting customers and co-operating in formulating a timeline, as well as varied wedding day activities. You will work with other wedding co-ordinators, and work as part of an established team.
