Description

START DATE - AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

Do you want to match newly engaged couples with their dream wedding venue?
Do you have a passion for people and a natural flair for Sales?
We are currently looking for a Wedding and Events Showround Manager to represent our exclusive use venue, Syrencot
We at Syrencot are passionate about the detail and have not only a stunning venue but also an exceptional onsite events team who pride themselves in providing the very best in terms of quality food, drink and wedding support for couples.
Our Wedding and Events Showround Manager will manage all meetings with prospective couples, taking them around our venue and focusing on them, their story and how we can manage their special day. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for Sales, a love for Weddings and is a true consultative seller.
The successful candidate will need to be extremely professional and yet friendly in their sales approach and needs to be an effective communicator who can bring the venue to life in the story they tell and by selling “heart” and not just “head”. Due to the nature of our business and availability of couples, flexibility and working weekends is crucial.
We also want the successful candidate to take control of their role by researching local competitors, understanding Wedding Trends and looking to improve and evolve their showround experience.
Ideally we would like candidates to have experience in the Wedding industry but we would also consider applicants to simply have a passion and understanding of Wedding operations. We offer training and support and are looking for someone to grow their role from within.
