CATERING MANAGER

WHO ARE YOU?
We are actively seeking applications from catering professionals with at least two years of managerial experience in the hospitality industry. Passionate about guest service, ability to lead from the front and strong leadership skills.
Given the Venues picturesque location and late finish times, having full UK driving licence and personal transportation to travel, is a requirement of the role for commuting to the venue.
This is a permanent position with full time hours working approximately 37.5 hours over 3 shifts per week on average throughout the year days, rising during busy periods to a maximum of 4 days. Applicants must be flexible to work a range of shifts, including late nights. working shifts across a 7-day operation.
· As Wedding Catering Manager, you will provide customer service to guests arriving at the venues that is flexible and responsive to their needs ensuring the smooth operation of the wedding venue.
· Create and actively manage partnerships with existing clients, guests and management, including other organisations (Venue Event Managers and Venue Owners), to best meet guest needs and maximise potential business opportunities.
· To take joint responsibility as the person in charge for the day-to-day running, organising and supervision of the delivery of Front of House (FOH) services to guests arriving at venues where Jenkinsons provide a service, that is flexible and responsive to the individual needs of guests. To ensure the smooth operation and standards of catering service consistently reach the highest quality. Deliver the strategic and financial objectives agreed for the service.
· Ensure an efficient and safe delivery of all food and beverage orders in line with guest expectations ensuring an exceptional level of service is maintained at all times
· Ensuring the service is fully compliant with all Hygiene, Health, and Safety regulations in accordance with statutory and company requirements. Ensure that the FOH is ready for any announced or unannounced inspections, done either by the Environmental Health officer or the internal Food Safety Officer.
· Ensuring all FOH team are in proper, well-maintained uniforms. Personal appearance and hygiene in accordance with Company policy.
· To be jointly responsible with senior managers for training and inspiring a local team to ensure high standards of customer service.
· Ensure all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried through cashing up and reconciliation of the tills, maintaining the float and that there is adequate change for the trading period ahead in line with agreed procedures.
· Control site cleanliness in areas that Jenkinsons Caterers are responsible for.
· Ensure good methods of stock rotation are implemented
· To accurately collate end stocks and drink requisitions
