From private estate weddings to brewery receptions to ballroom bashes, we make each event feel like our couple.

JOB SUMMARY:

We’re looking for reliable, hard-working, and friendly Wedding Planning Assistants to join our team for the 2026 wedding season (some 2025 availablility). You’ll work alongside our lead planners to help execute wedding days smoothly—from setting up décor to keeping timelines on track to making sure our couples have the best day of their lives.
This is a part-time, event-based role, perfect for someone who loves weddings, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves to make things happen. Most work will be on weekends, with varying hours depending on the event.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be available for most weekends during the wedding season (May–October)
• Reliable transportation to and from event locations (mainly in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Madison, and surrounding areas)
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Punctual, detail-oriented, and adaptable
• Prior hospitality or event experience a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train the right fit!

• Assist with event setup, styling, and décor placement
• Help maintain timelines and communicate with vendors throughout the day
• Support the lead planner in keeping the couple, wedding party, and guests informed & happy
• Manage behind-the-scenes tasks like moving chairs, bussing tables, refilling water stations, etc.
• Assist with breakdown and cleanup at the end of the night
• Problem-solve quickly and calmly if unexpected situations arise
• Represent Redwood Weddings with professionalism, positivity, and a “get it done” attitude
