JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Cook to join our team. Weekend availability is required for this position along with a couple days during the week. Shifts are from 6am-2pm. The ideal candidate will have a passion for preparing dishes in a neighborhood cafe setting.

QUALIFICATIONS

• We will train but being comfortable in a kitchen environment is a plus
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology a plus but not necessary
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team

• Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
• Ensure food quality and presentation meet the restaurant’s requirements
• Follow proper food handling procedures and food safety guidelines
• Collaborate with the kitchen team on menu planning and special dishes
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, stoves, ovens, and grills
