Description

Point on the Bow (POB) is a prestigious, self-managed, residential property in the Eau Claire neighborhood of Calgary. The building is 15 stories with 38 units. Amenities include an atrium lobby, social room, pool, gym, library, landscaped deck and underground parking.
This role is an integral team member of 5 to 7 concierge professionals responsible for providing 24-hour reception services to all residents and visitors to Point on the Bow. As the primary point of contact, the Concierge is a champion of the resident experience, instrumental in maintaining a secure environment and contributes administrative support to the Property Manager and Board.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum three (3) years of experience in a public facing role, like residential property management, executive assistant or front-line customer service.
· Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and always conduct yourself in a professional manner respecting the requirement to keep information confidential
· Proficient in Microsoft office suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel and SharePoint. Comfortable with technology and learning new platforms
· Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills, a team player with the ability to work with different personalities with tact and skill
· Ability to implement innovation, handle competing priorities and utilize problem-solving skills.
· Good physical condition: the ability to climb three flights of stairs and carry parcels.
· A clear Calgary Police Service (CPS) Police Information Check (PIC) is a pre-requisite of employment, with updates required every three years, or as requested. (Cost reimbursed for clear report)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $21.60 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week

Responsibilities

· Greet residents, visitors, and suppliers in a welcoming manner, and provide professional and courteous service.
· Support residents through urgent response episodes. Understand emergency procedures for EMS calls, fire alarms, power and elevator outages, flood incidents, etc.
· Respond to resident requests for services (e.g. transportation, food or floral orders, dry cleaning). Register and deliver packages to resident’s suites, as requested.
· Maintain amenity booking calendar and ensure reservations and fees are collected and documented as appropriate. Ensure the space is cleaned and ready for the next patron after use of the amenity area.
· Ensure that there is diligent attention paid to the well-being of the physical property and continuously evaluate and maintain a clean and tidy appearance of the lobby and amenity spaces.
· Assist the Property Manager to uphold the Point on the Bow bylaws by reporting any perceived infractions by an owner, resident, guest, or contractor for further action as advised.
· Support meetings, events and social gatherings as requested.
· Other duties as assigned to support operational needs.
