POSITION SUMMARY As a Weekend Agreement Nurse, you’ll provide compassionate, skilled medical care and leadership during weekend shifts. You’ll assess and monitor patient health, administer medications, ensure accurate documentation, and collaborate with medical and treatment teams to promote recovery, safety, and healing. You’ll help recognize out-of-the-ordinary circumstances such as sickness or injury and take the appropriate steps to ensure each client’s physical and mental wellbeing.  SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION Work two shifts each weekend and get paid for three! This unique agreement allows you to earn full-time pay while maintaining a flexible schedule that supports your work-life balance. Pay ranges from $34.50-49.50 per hour, based on experience and education). This is a day-shift position. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Complete comprehensive nursing health assessments for all new admissions within 72 hours. * Perform ongoing assessments and monitor vital signs per policy. * Administer medications, including psychotropic and PRN medications, and document accurately. * Monitor infection control, respond to injuries and emergencies, and provide first aid as needed. * Communicate with physicians, guardians, and treatment teams regarding patient health. * Maintain accurate documentation of all medical interventions, orders, and records. * Partner with the staff nutritionist to meet patient dietary needs and report allergies. * Participate in treatment planning, staff training, and patient education groups. * Assist with lab specimen collection and ensure timely pharmacy coordination. * Support safety and wellbeing by following all KVC procedures and protocols.
