WE’RE HIRING! The Picture House Cinema is looking for enthusiastic and friendly staff members who are over 18 years old, to help prepare food for our luxury screens and work front of house serving customers.
As a Cinema Food Prep and Front of House Assistant, you will be integral to delivering an exceptional guest experience in our luxury cinema. Your core skills in food preparation and safety will ensure high-quality food service, although training will be provided. You will handle till operations and cash transactions while maintaining a hospitable environment and experience in this is preferred.
Your outgoing and confident demeanour and previous experience in working in hospitality will enhance our patrons’ enjoyment, and your excellent customer interaction skills and positive approach to the service industry will make you a vital part of our team in a fast-paced setting where customer satisfaction is paramount.
You will be consistently available to work regular evening and weekend shifts, and will be keen to pick up extra work at peak and busy times, such as school holidays.
Rate of pay reflects the National Living Wage and is dependent on age and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Providing excellent hospitality and customer service to enhance the guest experience.
  • Assist in food preparation and cooking, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
  • Taking orders inside the auditorium and running trays of hot food and drinks to the seats
  • Assist with maintaining stock levels, which involves carrying stock up and down stairs
  • Selling advanced bookings with accuracy, operating the till and handling cash transactions without error.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and front of house areas.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and timely food delivery.
  • Handle food with care and follow proper food handling procedures.
