Our longer visits and unrushed approach allow Care Professionals to deliver high-quality support and meaningful companionship. Home Instead Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Wem is recruiting caring, reliable people to support older adults in their own homes on Saturday afternoons and evenings. This is relationship-led care with minimum 1-hour visits — giving you time to provide safe, person-centred support and build genuine connections. This position requires reliable local travel between client visits, so applications are invited from candidates living within our immediate service area only. Job Description Job Description — What You’ll Do Provide practical support and companionship, including: Companionship and emotional reassurance Personal care and daily routines Medication prompts/support (where required) Mobility support and assistance with outings Meal preparation and light household tasks Saturday afternoon and evening visits are planned and consistent, supporting continuity for clients and reliable hours for you. Qualifications Training & Development — No Experience Required No previous care experience is needed — full training is provided.
