Responsibilities may include: PERSONAL CARE & CLIENT SUPPORT * Assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene * Assistance with eating and daily living activities * Ambulation, mobility assistance, and walking support * Assisting clients to and from bed * Monitoring and supporting clients living with Alzheimer's Disease or Dementia HOUSEHOLD SUPPORT * Light housekeeping * Laundry and linen changes * Meal planning and meal preparation * Household organization and management * Apparel selection and dressing assistance COMPANIONSHIP & ENGAGEMENT * Meaningful conversation and companionship * Emotional support and encouragement * Promoting engagement, independence, and quality of life TRANSPORTATION & COMMUNITY SUPPORT * Transportation using the client's vehicle * Running errands and accompanying clients to appointments MEDICATION SUPPORT * Medication reminders in accordance with company policies OVERNIGHT, SLEEPOVER & LIVE-IN ASSIGNMENTS (WHEN APPLICABLE) * Preparing sleeping areas * Assisting clients during the night as needed * Reporting frequent overnight care needs to the office   DOCUMENTATION & COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITIES * Document services and activities within company software systems as required * Maintain accurate timekeeping and service documentation * Submit all required records by established deadlines * Immediately report significant client changes or concerns to the office * Follow all company policies, procedures, training requirements, and care plans   WHAT MAKES SOMEONE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE? * Treats every client with dignity, compassion, and respect * Communicates effectively and professionally * Is dependable, punctual, and trustworthy * Demonstrates patience, empathy, and professionalism * Adapts well to changing client needs and situations * Maintains strong personal hygiene and professional appearance * Can work independently without constant supervision * Has reliable transportation and can travel to client homes * Is able to work weekends and maintain schedule flexibility MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Must be 18 years of age or older * Authorized to work in the United States * Valid driver's license with no serious driving violations * Reliable transportation available during assignments * Ability to read, write, and speak English at an average adult level * Ability to successfully complete required training and skills assessments * Ability to complete all required health screenings * Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment * Proof of First Aid and CPR certification within 3 months of employment   PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * One or more years of caregiving, home care, healthcare, or related experience * CNA certification, nursing education, healthcare coursework, or similar experience preferred but not required   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
