We are a small catering business operating from The Warren Golf Club, just 100 yards away from the Dawlish Warren train station, easily accessible from Exeter and Newton Abbot.
Weekend Chef – Dawlish Warren Golf Club
Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, potentially one midweek shift when required
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Start Date: Immediate
Dawlish Warren Golf Club is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Weekend Chef to lead our kitchen on Saturdays and Sundays, with an additional midweek shift. If you love creating hearty, crowd-pleasing dishes in a welcoming, community-focused environment, we want you to join our team!

What You’ll Do:

• Take charge of the kitchen during weekend shifts, ensuring top-notch food quality and smooth service.
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, from classic pub fare to Sunday roasts, for our members and guests.
• Manage stock, maintain high hygiene standards, and keep the kitchen running efficiently.
• Work with a small team to deliver an excellent dining experience.
• Cover one midweek shift to support our kitchen operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a chef, with the ability to run a kitchen independently.
• Passion for preparing fresh, high-quality dishes that keep guests coming back.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle a busy service with ease.
• Food safety certification (Level 2 or above) is desirable but not essential.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and a love for great food.
