POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently hiring a Weekend Chef to cook meals for a fraternity or sorority house at Indiana University. This position includes preparing and serving brunch and/or dinner on Saturdays and Sundays, with occasional support for weekday service as needed. It’s a great opportunity for someone who loves to cook, enjoys a team-oriented kitchen, and values weekend consistency.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years of food prep or cooking experience
• Ability to take direction and work independently
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Self-motivated and organized
• Experience cooking for groups or in institutional settings preferred
• ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

• Prepare and serve fresh, high-quality meals on weekends
• Follow safe food handling and sanitation procedures
• Assist with kitchen cleaning, dishwashing, and inventory
• Support the Kitchen Manager with any weekend-specific needs
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Respond to feedback and contribute to a positive dining experience
