Pickled Pantry is looking for a part time cook/chef to join our small, friendly & fun team.
We are open 7:30-4 weekdays, 8-4 Saturday and 9-4 Sunday so you will not be required to work evenings!
We are an independently owned Café in Surbiton, specialising in locally sourced, seasonal dishes. We serve breakfast, lunch and homemade cakes, and we make everything fresh in house.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

Your role will involve prepping ingredients, making breakfasts, sandwiches, salads and baked goods; always ensuring high quality. Y
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a cafe environment, or running a busy section in a restaurant. We will provide full training.
Must be a good team player plus have the confidence to work independently
Live within easy reach of Surbiton due to early starts (plus we love recruiting people from our very own community)

Experience:

• Kitchen: 2 years (required

• To maintain cleanliness of kitchen and equipment, ensuring the premises are always cleaned to the highest standard, following the requirements of the cleaning schedule.
• Ensure all allergen and dietary requirements are adhered to
• To wash up during service, ensuring all crockery and equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately.
• Clean/close down the kitchen
• To ensure statutory and Company Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to.
• To be able to undertake any further duties in relation to the kitchen, meals, serving and cleanliness.
