Our mission is to help our clients live a dignified and fulfilling life! This position is an in-person opportunity (NOT REMOTE). YOUR JOB? (full job description provided during the interview) Schedule and support Direct Support Professionals that work on the weekends Handle staff call-outs on the weekend and maintain minimum staffing levels Respond to on-call emergencies on the weekend Help ensure our client homes are safe and clean Assist with client medications, appointments, and health follow-ups Complete client tracking and documentation in Therap website Plan fun client activities and community outings Assist with client financials including client food stamps and ABLE Accounts Provide direct client care including cooking, cleaning, bathing, and toileting assistance PERKS & BENEFITS Partially paid medical and dental Company-paid life insurance, disability insurance, EAP Employee-paid vision, life insurance add-on, hospital insurance, accident insurance, critical illness insurance Use of company vehicles for client outings Mileage reimbursement for use of personal vehicle for work-related travel $50 Cell-phone stipend (monthly) $35 gym/health club reimbursement (monthly) Paid sick and vacation time Paid floating holidays Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) for federal student loans SCHEDULE Weekend Coordinator is at the office or at client homes Friday-Sunday 8AM-4PM, and Monday 8AM-12PM. Mandatory 24-hour on-call responsibilities starting Friday at 4PM and ending Monday at 8AM. This may vary due to residential requirements of 24-hour service provision - some weekdays may be required. The weekend coordinator is the primary on-call supervisor for all emergencies, but there is always a 2nd backup on-call to support the weekend coordinator. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Must have previous supervisory experience (6 months or more) managing 5 or more employees Strong preference: experience in I/DD Services, caregiving, healthcare, or human services. Must pass pre-employment screenings: drug test, driving records check, background check Must be over the age of 18 Must have a valid driver's license that is insurable by company auto insurance Strong skills in organization, time management, and communication Ability to keep calm in an emergency Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, print/scan/fax, Adobe, Microsoft Word & Excel) PHYSICAL DEMANDS Physical demands of the job include constantly (2/3 or more of the time) moving from location to location – such as when you are providing training and providing direct support to client as necessary. WORK ENVIRONMENT This position is a mix of office work and direct client support. It will involve interaction with intellectually and/or developmentally disabled individuals which can result in physical contact and/or verbal exchanges.
