Shift Pattern: Saturday and Sunday 19:30-00:30
Salary: £18.90 Per hour + Sodexo benefits
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook to join our team at Johnson Matthey – Brimsdown. As part of the Sodexo catering team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service to staff and guests. This is a hands-on role requiring a passion for food, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals following provided recipes
• Deliver excellent customer service in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
• Support with packed lunch preparation and dinner service
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant and kitchen areas
• Complete due diligence paperwork using the Kelsius system
• Participate in performance reviews and training as required
• Work collaboratively with the team and independently when needed
• Adhere to all company and client policies, including health and safety and COSHH regulations

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a catering or cooking role
• Knowledge of food safety, allergens, and COSHH regulations
• Strong team player with good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and attention to detail
• Willingness to undertake relevant training
