PhotoMules is seeking a driven, hands-on Event Sales Manager to lead weekend youth sports photography events throughout Texas and surrounding states. This is a field-based leadership role responsible for team management, event execution, and driving on-site sales performance. Location: Based in South Carolina Travel: Weekend regional travel along the East coast required Friday-Sunday (travel expenses covered) What You’ll Own You are the on-site leader. When you're at an event, you’re responsible for both operations and revenue performance. Key responsibilities include: Lead and supervise a team of 2–6 event staff Manage full event setup and breakdown (tent, booth, equipment) Oversee photography flow, printing, and order fulfillment Drive sales results and coach team members in real time Engage customers and close sales directly Handle customer concerns and operational issues on-site Make fast decisions in high-volume environments Complete 1–5 hours of weekly prep work (staff confirmations, scheduling, equipment readiness) What We’re Looking For Previous leadership experience (team lead, supervisor, assistant manager, event manager, etc.) Strong sales background, commission or performance-based experience preferred Confident managing people in outdoor, high-energy environments Excellent communicator and problem-solver Comfortable standing and working on feet for extended periods Organized and able to prepare for events independently Backgrounds that transition well: Retail management Hospitality shift leadership Trade show or kiosk sales High-volume food & beverage leadership Event-based operations Compensation & Perks Competitive base pay Performance-based bonus tied to event sales Travel expenses covered Hands-on leadership experience in a growing company Performance-driven culture Active, outdoor work environment Travel Expectations Weekend availability required (Friday–Sunday) Travel across Texas and surrounding regions Must be comfortable driving a company vehicle Clean driving record required If you’re looking for a leadership role where you can directly impact revenue, coach a team, and operate independently in the field, we’d love to connect.
