Description The Alexandria Area YMCA is seeking a Facility Supervisor to oversee weekend operations and ensure an exceptional experience for our members, guests, and staff. This key leadership role is responsible for maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-managed facility, while providing outstanding customer service, responding effectively to emergencies, and supporting operational needs across all departments. Position Details: Schedule: One to two weekends per month, with additional weekend availability preferred Pay Range: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour Expected Hours: 10–12 hours per weekend, typically 5–6 hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday Key Responsibilities: Supervise YMCA facilities, staff, and members during weekends, ensuring adherence to the YMCA Code of Conduct. Respond to safety and emergency situations; documenting incidents and coordinating with outside agencies when necessary. Assist members and guests with questions, provide facility tours, and support front desk/member services staff. Assist with light cleaning, report maintenance concerns, and provide staffing support as needed. Open and/or close the facility according to established protocols, ensuring building security.
