The Bookcafe is an independent award winning cafe with two sites in Derby & Belper.
We promise a friendly, relaxing & inspiring setting whether you visit alone or with a group of friends & family.
Great coffee, drinks & food are our passion; whatever time of day you visit you’ll find freshly made & quite often locally sourced dishes on our menus in our restaurants.
We have been in our beautiful building in Derby since 2009, our a sister site in Belper opened in 2019.
We’re looking for genuinely friendly & industrious people to join our Front Of House team in Belper on a part time basis. Experience is preferred but having a genuinely friendly personality and an organised & conscientious approach is just as important. Applicants must be aged 16 or over.

Making sure that our customers get a warm welcome & efficient service every time they visit.
Taking orders & payments, making barista coffees and other hot & cold drinks including serving alcohol.
Serving food to tables in the dining area, keeping the dining area & bar clean, tidy & organised.
End of day housekeeping and replenishing.
