About The Role - Te mahi We are looking for a proactive Weekend Front Office Porter to join our team at Sudima Christchurch City. This is a position that will primarily focus on providing outstanding guest service while supporting the front office operations. This is a part-time role with 5 minimum hours per week at the pay of $25.50 per hour. Shifts will be mainly weekends (Saturday and Sunday), this could include public holidays. Ability to work morning or evening shifts on a rotating roster is essential. Responsibilities | Ngā haepapa Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes. Facilitate luggage handling, ensuring a smooth transition for guests upon arrival and departure. Provide accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, enhancing their overall experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front office and lobby areas. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Valet parking. About You | Ko Koe Tēnei Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a similar role or customer service is preferred. Ability to work morning and evening, particularly on weekends. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively. Positive attitude, with a passion for providing exceptional guest service. Must have the right to work in New Zealand. Must have a Full New Zealand Drivers License.
