YOUR CAPABILITIES

• Good verbal communication skills, customer service skills, confident dealing with members of the public.
• Able to follow instructions from your supervisors, and work on your own initiative.
• You are able to lift, carry or move products and purchases (e.g. large compost bags, stone garden pots, garden furniture etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

• Working one alternating day each weekend – Saturday one weekend, Sunday the next
• You’ll need to work some bank holidays (as part of a rota with other assistants)

• Moving trolleys, collecting empty trolleys from the car park and returning to the shop areas.
• Assisting customers by carrying purchases to their vehicles.
• Moving stock from the warehouse and moving promotional materials and displays.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the garden centre and stock areas.
