JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend Supervisor to oversee operations during the weekend shift. This role is crucial in ensuring exceptional guest services and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service in a hotel environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Excellent guest service skills with a commitment to providing an outstanding experience for all guests.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele.
  • Knowledge of human resources practices related to hiring, training, and employee relations is an advantage.
  • Ability to work weekends consistently with flexibility in scheduling as required.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Every weekend
  • Weekends only

Experience:

  • Human resources: 1 year (preferred)
  • Guest services: 2 years (required)
  • Hospitality: 2 years (required)
  • Leadership: 2 years (required)

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations on weekends, ensuring all staff adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional guest services, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Lead, motivate, and support the team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
  • Assist in training new staff members on hospitality standards and operational procedures.
  • Monitor staffing levels and allocate resources effectively to meet guest needs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations.
  • Handle any human resources issues that may arise during the weekend shift, including conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest feedback and operational issues for reporting to management.
