OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a hospitality environment. This role is crucial in ensuring that our guests have a pleasant and comfortable experience during their stay. Previous experience in hotel or janitorial services is highly desirable, as it will enhance your ability to meet our high standards of cleanliness.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is preferred.
• Experience in janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Perform cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
• Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain an inviting atmosphere.
• Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Follow established health and safety guidelines to ensure the wellbeing of guests and staff.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring that all items are cleaned and returned promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
