Your Role
Through understanding the needs of the people you support, you’ll run a busy kitchen that provides exceptional meals that truly changes lives. A career with meaning, you’ll also have a lot of fun with creating exciting menu choices and leading the kitchen.
As the Kitchen Assistant you will be responsible for the meal preparation offering healthy, balanced and calorie related meals
Ensuring creative menu planning, alongside our Cook Supervisor, dependant on supported individuals likes/dislikes and support needs in relation to their PWS.
Ordering of Provisions, general upkeep and cleanliness of the kitchen.
Ensuring the correct documentation is in place to secure a good food hygiene rating with the ‘Food Standards Agency’.
Your Service
Gretton House is set in a quiet, calm village but is always busy and bustling with fun. The people we support are at the heart of everything we do. They are supported to get involved with their home, learning new life skills and take the lead on the care and support they receive – which can include getting in the kitchen with the chef who prepares nutritious meals and encourages everyone to join in with understanding their diet and how to make healthy choices to support their PWS.
