Description Job Summary: Monitor operations and ensure that products conform to the quality standards set by the organization. Oversee quality testing and inspection process. Essential Job Duties and responsibilities: Work within the quality department to ensure quality assurance standards, practices, and processes are complete. Assist with any investigations into nonconformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented to reduce product defects. Ensure product first article checks meet quality specifications. Release finished product for shipment and ensure documentation is complete. Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively. As needed, must be able to work all shifts, weekends. Willing to learn and train on quality objectives. Proactive and self-starting, working in a culture of goal-setting with continuous improvement focus. Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follow all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program. Quality sampling with hygienic process. Review and approve documentation and labels for quality release. Check work in progress and finished goods to ensure they are correct to specifications. Review labels to ensure they are the correct to the specifications. Verification of scale accuracy with scale weights Requirements High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. Initiative to anticipate and act upon potential and existing problems. Ability to deliver constructive feedback in a positive, direct manner. Simple Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel computer programs. Able to bend, climb, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with various departments to identify opportunities and determine solutions. Other Skills and Abilities: Adhere to workplace safety standards in all aspects of the job. Contribute to a team-centered working environment. Make judgments based on specifications and technical data regarding conformance. Ability to follow work instructions. Must be detail oriented, with the ability to recognize defects and non-conformities. Knowledge of basic English is a plus. Work Schedule: This position operates on a weekend shift, working Friday through Sunday from 4:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Additional hours may be required based on business needs.
