Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

This is a multi-skilled role working between Golf and Lodge receptions, offering care and attentive customer service to our members and guests. Working closely with other departments, such as Greenkeepers, Housekeepers and Events to offer a complete service.
The position will require weekend work; early morning shifts will start from 7am and afternoon shifts will finish at 10pm. The Receptionist will be responsible for booking and confirming Tee times and general administration work. In addition, they will be selling a range of golf accessories for members and visitors.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This role includes:

  • Reception for both Golf and Lodge
  • Taking bookings for the Golf and Lodge and assisting with enquiries
  • Checking in golfers and assisting with enquiries
  • Taking payments and completing cash up procedures
  • Merchandising
  • Answering all incoming calls and emails and directing them to the appropriate team member
  • Quality checks of Lodge Rooms
  • Assisting the Events team, including taking bookings for Sunday Carvery
  • Production of posters and signage
  • Check in and out of Lodge guests – including checking for additional room charges
