WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO OUR COMMUNITY:

  • Minimum of 1 years’ in a reception role
  • Minimum Grade C in English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Basic knowledge of Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram)
  • Confident telephone manner

Responsibilities

As the organisation’s Weekend Receptionist, you will act as the organisation’s first point of contact for telephone enquiries on weekends. You will be based at The Cuttings, our extra-care scheme, and will welcome clients, service users, contractors, medical professionals, and other stakeholders who visit The Cuttings, in a friendly and helpful manner. The Receptionist will be a positive and professional individual, who will be highly organised and tidy, keeping the reception area presentable at all times. You will also provide basic administrative support to the Scheme, such as scanning, copying, filing, and distributing post, and keep the reception email inbox up to date. The Receptionist will also liaise through email and handovers with the Lead Receptionist to support with internal promotional documents, such as posters, leaflets, newsletters, and flyers in line with the activity plan.
The receptionist working times will be Friday, Saturdays and Sundays, 9.00am-5.00pm.
